My main radio assignment this year led me out on a wild hunt for interviewees, from the Mayor's Ambassador of River Transport's living room to the offices of London Port Authority in Gravesend, Kent.

Our group project in the radio studio where we created local radio for the different boroughs around London. I was chosen to be the news presenter live in the studio, a profession I consider myself very interested in for the future.

I was allowed to return as presenter for the second week. Our group goals were to fill the 20 minutes we were given with a light, quirky, conversational news programme and I felt we all did a great job and this show really came together nicely. In this episode I also did a long feature interview.

The best example I have of multimedia journalism. I set out on the Circle Line Challenge with a target audience of beer lovers, aiming to provide a fun, interactive, extended feature. 28 pubs and 28 beers were given a rating from 0-100, I wrote down my remarks on the iPhone notepad and made sure to snap photos of every single tap I was served beer from. Additionally, I made a FOI request, created three photo galleries from different stages along the challenge and noted quotes and observations from relevant people in the pubs.

Review of a craft beer tasting session at Old Street tube station with the guys from Beerbods. The hour-long event served us four local beaverages from Bermondsey breweries paired up with four French cheeses. Used an audio recorder to tape the session to remember different details provided while snapping photos with the SLR and interviewing the two co-founders briefly afterwards.

I voluntarily created a promo trailer (at the bottom of the article) and wrote a preview for the 2012/13 season of Arsenal FC. Then I asked the Norwegian supporter's club if they would like to publish it on their website. Not only did they publish it, I was also offered to write for them on a more permanent basis and has contributed on a freelance basis ever since.

The following year I had established myself as a more experienced writer on the Arsenal Norway site and felt a critical assessment of the club's transfer market policies was way overdue. I created a quirky, snappy, yet serious and aggresive opinion piece suggesting what might have gone wrong in previous pre-seasons and how the club could avoid committing the same mistakes again.
